» B2B (aka B-2-B, Biz to Biz, Business-To-Business and similar)
A term used to denote that a site, application or service is sold from one business to another, not to an end user or home user. Example: a merchant account is a b2b product, it is sold from Supplier A to Supplier B, not from a Supplier A to an end client. The end client would purchase a good or service from Supplier B using the merchant account Supplier B uses from Supplier A. The end client does not have direct contact with Supplier A.
» Bandwidth
A term used to indicate how much digital data can be transfered over a given connection in a given amount of time. Normally, bandwidth limits and allocations are usually denoted in bits per second (bps) or sometimes bytes per second. Originally, bandwidth was measured in Mega Hertz (MHz) for analog data transfer.
