» Co-Location (aka Colocation / Co-Location / Collocation)
Co-Location, spelled many different ways, really does mean what it sounds like. Basically it indicates that a hosting provider has equipment (servers) in two or more locations (data centers). Normally this is a good thing and something you should look for in a good, solid host. Benefits include increased physical security on the servers themselves (where your virtual data resides) and increased flexibility in server management to name a few.
