» Firewall
Sounds serious, but really they are a common "first line" of defense for keeping authorized users in and others out. Fire walls do just what they sound like they do, they create a "wall" between a potenial problem (security breech, hackers, spambots, etc.) and precious data. Although they aren't impenatrable, fire walls are a great first step in protecting your website and home computer from "uglies". Ask your host about their firewall protection and optional data encryption services for even more security.
